On July 16–17, the national stage of Global HackAtom was held at the University of Namibia (UNAM, Windhoek). Thirteen teams from three different higher education institutions in Namibia took part. Participants worked on a case involving the development of an analytical platform to compare the economic efficiency of traditional uranium mining with the in-situ leaching (ISL) method. With the participation of experts from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), one of Rosatom’s partner universities, scientific and educational lectures were organized, as well as meetings with university faculty.
